Warm welcome: Anna Fischer joins our Lab!

We are glad to welcome Dr. Anna Fischer as new postdoc to the ANaP-Lab!

 

Anna studied psychology at Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and graduated afterwards at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro under Prof. Daniel C. Mograbi. Her PhD thesis was about emotional processing and metacognition of patients with Alzheimer's disease. During a research stay at Laboratory for Neurology and Imaging of Cognition at Ghent University in 2019 she also worked with Prof. Dr. Patrik Vuilleumier. Since december 2020 she is a postdoc of the Affective Neuroscience and Psychophysiology Laboratory at Georg-August-University Göttingen.

 

Current research interests involve the exploration of factors which influence the choice and flexible usage of emotion regulation strategies in healthy and pathological populations as well as relationships of long-term consequences for well-being and social interactions.
