Anna Fischer
Anna studied psychology at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (B.Sc. and M.Sc.). She received her Ph.D. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro under the supervision of Daniel Mograbi. Her dissertation research investigated emotional processing and metacognition in Alzheimer's disease. In 2019 she worked as a visiting researcher at the Laboratory for Neurology and Imaging of Cognition at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Patrik Vuilleumier. Since December 2020 she is a postdoc in the Affective Neuroscience and Psychophysiology Laboratory at the Georg-August-University Göttingen.
Current research interests involve the exploration of factors influencing choice and flexibility of emotion regulation strategies in healthy and pathological populations, as well as their relationship with long-term consequences regarding well-being and social interactions.
