Daniela Avila

Daniela is originally from Argentina. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Granada in Spain in 2012, and in 2013 she earned her master's degree in health psychology from the same university. The topic of her master's work was "Spanish Version of the Pain Vigilance und Awareness Questionnaire: Psychometric Properties in a Sample of Fibromyalgia Women".

During her studies she completed internships in both clinical practice and research in the field of clinical psychology. In 2012, she completed an internship in clinical psychology at the Centro María Zambrano in Granada. In 2013, she completed an internship in clinical psychology at the Fundación Márgenes y Vínculos in Granada, where she was working with both children and adolescents as a clinical psychologist. In 2013, she also completed a research internship in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the Universidad de Granada. From October 2014 to March 2015 she conducted a research internship in the Department of Psychology of Language in the Georg-Elias-Müller Institut für Psychologie, Georg-Elias Universität Göttingen. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in the same group exploring the development of a semantic system during early lexical acquisition.
