Fatih Sivridag

Fatih graduated with a bachelor's degree in foreign language education from Boğaziçi University, Turkey in 2012. From 2012 to 2020, he worked as a language teacher at various primary and secondary schools in Istanbul, giving him the opportunity to closely observe foreign language learning. He received a master's degree in cognitive science from Boğaziçi University in 2019. In his master's thesis, he investigated the role of individual differences in predicting sentence progression in a foreign language. At the Psycholinguistics Research Laboratory of the same university, where he was a laboratory assistant until 2018 and laboratory director until 2020, he gained experience in eye tracking studies. His research interests include the role of individual differences and educational media in foreign language learning.

In 2020, he started his doctoral research in the Wortschatzinsel as an MSCA Fellow in the ITN project "Early Language Development in the Digital Age (e-LADDA) " at Göttingen University.
