Martina de Eccher
Martina completed her bachelor’s degree in Developmental and Educational Psychological Science at the University of Padua in 2016. In 2018, she obtained her master’s degree in Developmental Clinical Psychology from the same university, with a thesis on affective touch and infants’ implicit body perception.
After her graduation, she completed a one-year internship at the Wiener Kinderstudien Lab of the University of Vienna. There, she was involved in different studies investigating socio-cognitive development in the first year of life, with a focus on interpersonal synchrony and perception of synchrony.
In September 2020 she starts her PhD program in Georg-August-Universität of Göttingen as part of the MSCA Innovative Training Network “Early Language Development in the Digital Age (e-LADDA)”. The aim of her work is to investigate how digitally automatized input can play a role in early word learning and vocabulary expansion.
