Blackwell, Simon

Simon Blackwell is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychopathology, University of Göttingen. You can find out more about his research and other professional activities via the links on the right hand side of this page.

Research Interests

  • Mental imagery, in particular positive mental imagery, its role in psychopathology and healthy functioning, and how we can use it in interventions
  • Translational research methods, from single case designs to randomized controlled trials, and how we can make translational research more efficient
  • Developing of scalable (e.g. computerized) interventions based on our understanding of the mechanisms underling psychopathology and healthy functioning.
