Zukunftstag 2025 in der Historischen Sternwarte Göttingen – Ein Einblick in die Psychologische Forschung

Am diesjährigen Zukunftstag durften wir in der Historischen Sternwarte Göttingen sechs neugierige Nachwuchsforschende begrüßen – drei Mädchen und drei Jungen –, die einen interaktiven Einblick in die Welt der Psychologie erhalten haben.

The focus of the day was the question: What defines psychological research – and how can one become a part of it? In varied workshops, participants explored various career fields in psychology and learned in a practical way which paths – even outside of a traditional degree psychology – can lead into the exciting field of psychological research.

Special highlights were three live demonstrations from current research:

an EMG demonstration to measure muscle activity,
an insight into our dyadic interaction platform,
and an eye tracking experiment.

The feedback from participants was consistently positive. One participant summed it up as follows: "I really enjoyed the experiments." Another participant added: "We learned a lot about psychology and what it takes."

A thoroughly successful day full of curiosity, insights, and inspiration – we are already looking forward to Future Day 2026!
