How do social and emotional situations affect eye-movements and brain responses?

As humans, we often prefer to look at pictures with social situations (e.g. a cocktail party) over non-social pictures (e.g. a landscape). In particular, we find emotional social scenes (e.g. a happy couple) interesting to look at. In this study, we investigate how our eye-movements are affected by the social and emotional content of a visual scene. We furthermore investigate, if our brain responds differently to these scenes depending on how much we look around in them.
