Faeze Heydari

Faeze obtained her bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. While working in a mechatronic research laboratory, she developed a keen interest in cognitive and neuroscience, which led her to pursue a master's degree in Cognitive Science at the Institute for Cognitive Science Studies in Tehran.
For her master's thesis, she focused on investigating the effects of facial color modulations on various emotions and health perception. This research was conducted at the Comprehensive Research Laboratory of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Currently, she is contributing to a DFG project that delves into the analysis of real-life emotional expressions, with a particular emphasis on exploring the role of (perceived) emotions in negotiations and leadership behavior.

  • Neuro-cognitive mechanisms underlying visual, emotional, and face perception
  • Neuroeconomics
