Dennis Feyerabend

Dennis studied Biology (B.Sc.) at the University of Hamburg and Developmental, Neural, and Behavioral Biology (M.Sc.) at the University of Goettingen. His Master’s thesis investigated the influence of changes in testosterone levels on the preference for facial masculinity/femininity of potential male rivals and female short time partners in men.

His research as an intern and research assistant focused on investigating and validating new methods for affective research.

 

Current research interests:

The applicability of computer based emotion recognition software (Affectiva AFFDEX) and electromagnetic articulography for the detection and validation of emotional facial expressions.
